Here it goes...
December 29, Shopping Fun!
So after Rye and Mico's overnight at Perfecto's Farm, Rye had to go back to our place because Mico doesn't have a ride home. I cannot remember anymore what we did when they got back from Tagaytay. Maybe eat? Yeah, I think we ate. Definitely! Haha. Then, the whole family went to Greenbelt to do some window shopping - turned shopping. I think everybody got something that day. If not, they were at the very least forced to get something! Haha.
The 2 girls were the 2 biggest spenders that day. Maan got the jacket from Nike she has been eying on for the longest time. It was 3k++. Gosh. Then, Kit followed suit and bought a similar one minus the batik batik spots. Kit got another one, a hoodie, which Maan spotted first. They got into a brawl but in the end, Kit won and got the hoodie. Haha. It was fun seeing Maan lashing out in Nike, almost about to cry in envy and frustration!
Mico forced Daddy to buy himself a pair of Sanuk (which Mico can conveniently borrow), while I forced mommy to get her own pair (the one that I've checked out for several times already and can also borrow! Hehe). Then I felt a rush to get my own pair as well! Daddy paid for half, while he challenged Rye to pay for the other half. Haha. Poor Rye was put on the spot!!! He couldn't say no in front of Daddy, that poor thing. Napa-bunot tuloy agad sa wallet, wala ng isip isip pa. I told him I will pay him in January, but he refused. Naks! I love you, Bubbs. I love you, Daddy! Thank you!!
Mico also tried on a pair, which he went back for and bought after dinner. Daddy was forcing Robby to buy a jacket. I think Daddy felt guilty that Rob's the only one who didn't get anything. Rob tried on this jacket from Ecco but it didn't fit him well so he didn't take it.
After the impromptu shopping spree, we ate at Big Buddha in GB3. It's the same restaurant where I formally introduced Rye to Daddy, Robby, Maan, and Kitkat (Mommy and Mico were in Boracay that time!) 7 years ago! The kiddos were literally just kids then. How time flies! Memories, oh, memories. Those were the times when I secretly held hands with Rye under the table! Hahaha. I think we bumped into Maiki pa that time, and she and Rye had a kinda awkward introduction. I don't know if she still remembers that. Tagal na nun! Yuck.
After dinner, we passed by the Mac store beside the music store. Daddy liked the iMac so much that I think he'll get one for their room soon. Para kay Mommy daw! Hehe. He's really humble like that. Uunahin niya talaga kami, bago pa siya bumili ng kahit ano. Even if he really likes this shirt or this pair of shoes, it's easy for him to let it go. I love my Dad.
Then, we headed home. Not sure if we watched a DVD pa. Maybe not. Hehe. I don't remember anymore. It was a fun and busog day with the family! I love them to bits :)
December 30, Tagaytay and Lago de Oro Day
Woke up at around 6 in the morning and rushed to the bathroom to prepare for our trip. Rye and I left as soon as I was ready and headed to their house so he can pack up his stuff and wake boarding paraphernalia. Then, we zoomed to McDonald's ATC to meet with his cell group at 8AM. Lo and behold, we were there at 8 and we were the first! I love it that my boyfriend is punctual. We waited awhile and the boys arrived one by one. Once they were complete, we left for Tagaytay for their "working" brunch.
Upon Andreus' recommendation, we ate in Taalena. They got their own table while I got my own. I ordered just 1 ulam because I was alone and Rye didn't think of sharing some of their hot bulalo (boo!) so I went about with my lunch with my earphones glued to my head. The food was not great. At all. I didn't like the food I ordered. The mango shake was not great as well. It tasted like melted ice from the kalye. Eww. But anyway, I went to the view deck after eating and had my "me" time there. It was great. I killed time by reading the book I've been reading for the longest time (Her Fearful Symmetry).
At around 12:30pm, Rye had to say goodbye to the boys because we needed to travel to Calatagan to meet up with JP and Mike/Brenda and other TRS people in Lago de Oro. It took us several hours to reach our destination but I guess the long drive was worth it seeing Rye doing his "thing." I gave up on knee/wake boarding that same day I tried it in CWC but I enjoyed watching Rye from the kubo ride again. I was actually nervous when he was about to try it out again after 6 long months but the moment his board hit the water, I was fine. He was great!! He really missed it and even if he was only able to ride for several rounds, I know he loved every moment of it. I am so proud of my wake boarder boyfriend!! I was satisfied taking photos of his awesomeness! :))

In action!
Tired! Haha!
We left Calatagan at around 6pm and went back to Tagaytay to have dinner at Antonio's Grill. We had a yummy dinner at the resto, compliments of the owner (as the son of the owner was with us in Lago and a student of Mike). We had to leave ahead of them because of the long travel back to Antipolo! We were soooooooooo sleepy that I had to try my best to stay up and keep Rye awake the whole time. By the time we reached the house (at 1:30am?), we died the moment our bodies hit the bed. Bagsak na sa pagod.
I truly love long drives and road trips with Rye! Thanks for bringing me to Lago even if my sole purpose was to take you photos! Haha. More to come, Bubbs!

Okay, I have to cut this short. I am very sleepy! It's my bedtime already, that's why!
I shall continue this tomorrow. Good night!
Ciao!
