5 Minutes

I can't think of anything interesting to write about right now. Today was a pretty normal day. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing too fascinating... except for Martina's OJ incident today (oh, the horror!) and the fact that my arms and face are not of the same shade as the rest of my body.

I was super duper dead beat tired after Sports Day. The moment the pillow touched my face in the car, I was gone. I only woke up to scurry to the bed but in a few seconds, I was knocked out again. I set my alarm at 330 but it was useless. I woke up at 4 when Mico arrived talking to someone (hmmm) on the phone. I then had a very refreshing bath and rehearsed my part for our PTK report in the evening.

I was supposed to hitch a ride with Kara but decided to wait for Manong instead since he'll be going back to Ateneo to pick up Robby anyway. It took him forever to arrive and I went into panic mode as I didn't want to be late because of our reporting. Yes, I panic at the slightest sign of stress. I don't like it when my plans get derailed from track. I texted Rye and told him my dilemma. And like magic, I calmed down. He is my stress ball. And guess what?! I got to school 5 minutes before 6. All that stress for nothing! To add to that, Dr. Liane wasn't feeling well and decided to cancel class. Great! To think I even practiced my report, which I don't normally do!

Kara and I just decided to go to the lib to borrow some books for our project. 5 minutes before 730, which is the lib's closing time, we went to the check out counter... The librarian then informed us that the server is already off and we can't check out the piles of books we brought anymore. 5 minutes. A lot could happen in 5 minutes, I tell you. Frustrating.

Anyway, after checking my mail and reading Daddy's email about the Grade 4 Atenean who got squished by a van (May you rest in peace, Amiel.), which is really really sad and bothering, Kara and I went to Bo's Coffee to talk about our kids, talk about teaching and studying, talk about life in general. Haha... and of course, talk about the project. Now, everything's in place, we just need the data. People, please respond!!!

I got home. Ate. Took a bath.
Called Rye. Talked to Rye. Asked Rye why he could not be contacted earlier. Talked to Rye some more. Texted Rye. Said Good night to Rye who will wake up at 530 tomorrow to get orders in the Palengke.

In 5 minutes, I will log out, shut down Diego, and sleep.
This is such a sucky entry but because I promised to write everyday, this will have to do.

Good night.

Ciao!
